Interesting - I wonder though, reports like this appear all the time in science and its usually years before we ever actually see them reach the common commercial market. Hope we get to see them soon!

Should be just in time for the next generation microprocessor to hit the market. That kind of expansion of processing power will be needed to work on the gigantic files this new breed of sensors will produce.
