I am SO READY for spring!!!! We are getting snow AGAIN and it has been to cold to go out and try to shoot anything, so I spent some time playing in Photoshop with an image from last summer. Hope ya like it! Thanks for looking

I always enjoy your photos Wally. But I think this one could use a crop. Just a little too much space and my eye keeps going to that big leaf on the left. Maybe because it's much brighter than all the other leafs?

thank you everyone for your feedback, and you are right Woodsac from a composition stand point this picture is not the best. I mainly did it because it was such a challenge to do a good conversion from color and then give it a good tone.

I actually did 3 seperate B&W conversion using both the Channel Mixer and a hue saturation level, and then using layer masks blended everything together as one image.

I love the tones in this image. I do agree that it needs to be cropped a bit. Overall...great image,

Nice shot, the sepia tones fits perfectly, it gives a classier feel.
