Shadows

Ok so, I'm doing a newborn shoot tomorrow, I have a basket and faux fur.. I'm terrible at editing. And as soon as the baskets in front of the backdrop, the fur and basket have a shadow. It looks horrible. Is there any way I can edit it out? I suck at editing. And I'm nervous for tomorrow because I want them to be perfect.
Help please?

Pull the basket away from the backdrop some and raise the flash to lower the angle of the shadow....doable?

Can you post a test shot?

I only have the built in flash so I don't use it. Which sucks. I really need a new flash,
This is stressful.

Try this - find a white index card, pop up your flash and slide the index card in front of the flash so it bounces the light up. It may help a LOT.

Be careful not to let the flash's light get pass the index card without being bounced. Some people also put a tissue over the flash, as a diffuser. Try a bunch of stuff tonight so you find out what works best before tomorrow.

Or take the milky white frosting cup from a pillsbury cinnamon rolls roll and hold it in front of the flash.

I can't find a picture of the cup... but I see someone else figured out the same thing. or maybe i told them a couple years ago ;-)

I put the basket way up from the backdrop. Tried every program there is. I usually use custom but I think "shade" actually took away most of the shadows. I put my stands a little further to the sides and pointed them more down. But not all the way (don't know if baby's eyes are super sensitive) so I'm only using 2 stands. Which is harder. Correct me if I'm wrong

Shade also gave everything a bit more color. Which is good cause I suck so bad at editing I don't even know how to do that. lol

Shade it just a WB setting. Shoot in raw and adjust WB later. What's your light source?
