Ely Cathedral is known as "The Ship of the Fens" ass it can be see from over 20 miles rising above the flat land of the Fens.
This is taken from over 2 miles away from my garden on one of the clearest cold evenings we have had for a long time.
The resolution of the modern digital has come a long way, coupled with the f2.8 Sigma 70-200mm
Needless to say - a heavy crop with the late afternoon sun reflecting from the windows of the West Tower like strobes, not done full justice by the camera.
