Shoot with Sisters for parents X-mas present!

Hey guys,
recently did a shoot with some sisters who wanted to give the photos to their parents as a Christmas present. We were really excited and had a great time doing the shoot. We tried to mix using ambient light, reflectors and flash. The sun went down a lot faster than we expected forcing us to work quickly but overall thought it was a success. Here are a few shots. C&Cs welcome and appreciated.

Its still a good shot. maybe some sharpening before considering to trash it.

don't trash #1 just yet! It's a supa cute picture, even though it is a little out of focus! Try a little sharpening and editing before you completely pitch it out! they look SOOoooo relaxed and natural in it that I'm thinking they will like it and want prints even though it may be a out of focus.

#2 is STUNNING. The only thing I might change is a tad tighter crop. But the lighting is simply amazing!

#3 same as #2. BEAUTIFUL!

#4 this one doesn't catch my attention as much but it's still a nice picture.

#5 LOVE it! Such a good idea.

overall, you did a super great job and these prints will be a treasured Christmas gift! Congratulations!

The first three are very nice. The rest... well not so much.

As for the first view, I'll agree it's a bit soft, but absolutely acceptable for 8x10 and smaller. I might crop this one up from the bottom quite a bit... up to the bottom of CRAZY PINK logo. The knees of the girl in back are not helping the composition.

The lighting is just too flat in 4, and 5 is a near miss for me... a bit too staged and silly.

But I do like that first one. Very nice!

#5 is cute but sadly it cannot be cropped to some of the most popular sizes without losing part of the image.

It can be changed to move the two closer by taking out a portion of the middle to change the look. It can be done in Elements.
