i really enjoy black and white photography and i was going to buy the D100 but it seems like there is not a black and white button the camera- which camera has the best images for black and white for nikon- does D1H have black and white button

No, you will need a photo editing software to convert to B&Ws, I got a 10D last July and am happy with in general, but IMO for a hobbies point of view the post processing is a lot more work that film

Yeah. Any image can be made into black and white with photoshop. It's not anywhere the same as shooting with black and white film but if a grayscale image is what you're after it's quite easy.
