Shooting Coachella Festival...

...besides camera and lense... what gear should i bring with me or is needed for shooting a festival?

Heres what im bringing so far:
Tripod
Monopod
Speedlite Flash
Camera Backpack
Charger
Lens Hood

what else?

Are you carrying all your equipment? That can get heavy and awkward moving through crowds.

I went to a light festival about a month ago, and it was so crowded, I got a little worried people would knock into my tripod. Also got tired of carrying so much stuff.

IMO, bring the tripod and leave monopod behind.

You do not need a tripod and a monopod ...leave one home

Condoms, disposable lighter, paracord, blindfold, plastic leg flask full of high-proof whisky or 151 rum...no wait...wait...different event...my bad. Forget the paracord! A tripod? Oh, noes! Do you really weanna' be "that guy!", the one with the tripod??? Better idea...be on the lookout for K-Stew or LiLo at the festival, and shoot hand-held, at high ISO values. Capture the ambiance of the festival.

Don't bother with a tripod or a monopod. There are going to be too many people there for you to successfully navigate your way around.

Are you shooting the bands, or just shooting around the festival grounds?

I have stage access... Shooting the bands. The tripod is for long exposure shots, the monopod is for shooting the crowd from above.
