If it's in a park or in a street, with people and all you can act like taking pictures to everyone from a decent distance. With a 200 mm you can do a good job and if you say to the guy "look man you have to speak and speak and try to distract her so she wont have a break to see that you are there or whatever" so she wont be worried about if you are there or I dont know... And yes! Simulate a fake session its a very good idea too!!

Change your plan, try something more in the 500-600mm range. A one day rental shouldn't be too expensive.
