Shooting in B&W vs Colour Conversion

i shoot color and convert to bw later. that gives you much more flexibility.

i shoot in colour then convert to B&W....i think about 90% of my stuff is black and white... which fully owns my black ink carts in my printer

Also, i find that most of the time RAW is not needed.. unless you need really high quality files (maybe for a stock site).

As far as exposure goes.... just get it right on the day!!

Correct! Simply more control.

More control vs. shooting B&W in JPEG mode. Equal control vs. shooting B&W in RAW.

But if you want to compose a B&W shot in color, be my guest.
