First of all, let me clarify it to you that there cannot be one lens for only one purpose in digital era of photography. A macro lens is very versatile for shooting portraits; likewise a tele lens of 300mm is awesome for portraits as well as wildlife and sports. A wideangle lens can be used with awesome success if you want some environmental portraits. Here also, an Olympus M.Zuiko Digital 45mm f/1.8 (90mm in full format), which is made for MFT camera-bodies can be used for different purposes like, landscape and ‘astrophotography' as well. ....

You said 45mm on full format is 90mm, please clarify as I thought 45mm on full frame is 45mm
I do know on crop sensor it should be 67.5mm so please explain your statement as I am always happy to learn new concepts and terms in photography.

Only on a Nikon. On a Canon it would be 72mm since they have a 1.6:1 crop factor. Sony, Pentax, others, I really don't know. They could be the same as a Nikon.

I'd also like to know the answer to your question though. I suspect it's something to do with the crop factor of a Micro 4/3, but again I really have no idea.

OP claims this 45mm lens is 90mm on "Full Format" which I assume means Full frame, how the heck a 45mm lens can double itself on FF camera whether its mirrorless or DSLR, sensor size is not connected to the camera body, its the size of the sensor period as far as I know, but again maybe OP knows something that I don't and I will be happy to learn new things.

a 4/3 camera has a crop factor of 2, so a 45 mm lens is equivalent to a 90 on FF of any make.
