Shooting through a fence

Lens hood up against the fence and shoot wide open, so if your lens is 2.8 give it a try.

Through the chainlink backstop...

Through the side of the back stop up nice and close, you can see what I was shooting through from the opposite side...

What? You have a 400mm lens with a really huge front element that the fence runs all in front of and it magically disappears??? wow, it really must be magic..

180mm should be ok, anything wider and you're more likely to pick up the fence, in some cases where the sun is will also add to the problem. Just keep at it, it can be done as shown in the images posted.
