Shooting through Hermine and the previous few days

The storm started out slow today, but by early afternoon it was blowing about 40 (and still is) Shot most of the day anyways even with somewhat poor light. I've also been playing with my new to me 300 F2.8 AF-S II. Thanks for looking and comments welcome

Lol, actually it was a pinhole camera and coke bottle attached to my 1985 cell phone..

Seriously though I only give advice on the genre I photograph and related gear that I have a lot of experience with, I wish certain other people were the same way... You won't find me hanging out giving landscape or portait advice (unless it's a raptor portrait or a bird in a landscape I guess) Heck, hand me a flash and you can throw me right in the noob forum, lol..

I'm kind of the same way, I generally don't get involved when folks are talking about stuff like say product photography or portraits unless I really think there is something I can contribute, which would be rare. If anything it makes my life easier, not many folks here ask questions like, how do I get better shots at the zoo? rotfl

Well, since you opened the door...what do I do about the glare from the gorilla proof glass?

Reflections on the glass? Only two options. When you can get as close to the glass as possible. If possible put your lens hood right up against it. If it's not possible because of a barrier of some sort, change your position and or angle. Watch your viewfinder and try to push it off the subject and far enough towards an edge where you can crop it out or eliminate it in post.
