Technically speaking, I should be fine shooting them. Although this would be my first time shooting wrestling, so I'm worried about what I should shoot / composition / etc. I am also allowed to use flash. I have a Nikon D7000, a 50mm 1.8, an 18-105 3.5-5.6, a 70-300, and an 80-200 2.8, as far as light I have a Vivitar Flash, an SB-600, a Gary Fong (lol schwetty) and radio triggers. Any tips on shooting wrestling? I want to utilize the flash, and I think I will just throw one on a stand and use it as a fill, and use the other clocked down a bit to act as a key. I do not understand the sport, so I'll have to guess when points are scored / pins are made etc. Unsure of the lighting conditions, I can pretty well adapt once I get to the location.

I know its last minute, I was assigned to this 3 hours ago. Any advice is welcome

tl;dnr: Shooting wrestling tournament, first time shooting wrestling / allowed to shoot with flash. Have equipment listed above. Halp

Edit: Holy grammatical errors, I'm nervous lol

So how did it go? Hopefully all went well :)

It was alright, I lost about half the shots I would have had because I am an idiot and shot with a 60 shutter... derp
