Terrific shots! I particularly like the first two.
The short-eared owl is the ONLY owl I've ever seen in the wild, and only once. Where I saw it (them, actually--about 3 or 4 of them but only one I ever saw that well), there were ALSO Northern Harriers there, and they seemed to take turns harassing each other. Wonder why that is, that the Short-eareds and Harriers always seem to be found in the same spot?
Great job Mike !!!!
Love the first two and that last one is just an amazing moment, a little more exciting than the Junco and Wrens I saw out my office window today lol
Well they'd be a lot better if his ears were longer.
Lol.. ok, ya, you got me.. they are great shots. Congrats.
Very cool! I have yet to see one... No LEO either..
Thanks. This was interesting to watch. Here's the next shot. <img src="http://www.thephotoforum.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=66641"/>
