I shot my first set of bridal pictures last week. Any advice on what I can do to improve? Please keep in mind that the bride asked for the heavy vignetting.

Possibly a shade dark and a touch of green hue from the grass but that's being picky and would be a simple fix. I like them both, especially #2, you captured a beautiful smile and she looks stunning. :D

Yeah, your WB is off and you have some color casts going on, but I love the expressions and poses.

Did you shoot in RAW ? The bridal dress simply MUST be white :D , I think.

Thanks!

Just out of curiosity, these are the originals that she said she didn't like. I think the color looks better in them. Any thoughts?

Yes I did shoot these in RAW. The bride's dress was an off white, almost cream color and her veil was white.

I tried to play with one... this monitor I'm on is not the greatest at all but I was bored! lol

I tried a different monitor and this is what I came up with. Any better or worse? BTW thanks for all the C&C it is really helping me.

I think that looks better but still very green.

How did you get rid of the green in your version?

I'm not on the computer I usually edit on and only have LR3 installed here but I just adjusted the temp and tint slider for the coloring.

That is very helpful. I guess I was making it more complicated than I needed to. It doesn't help that I am red-green colorblind lol.

Oh man! Lol that would make it difficult. When I'm back at my computer I will try to link you to an old thread where one of our members explained reading them numbers to get you a good white balance.
