Should I Crop It?

I'm having trouble deciding whether or not I should crop the bottom off this photo. I'm not sure if it's extra space that's distracting or if it goes well with the overall photo. What do you think I should do? I'm leaning more towards not cropping it but I like it cropped too.

i personally think it looks good without cropping. there's a bit of depth in the picture that way. but then again i'm NO expert so what do I know.

i don't like how his ear is already cut off

i think i prefer the uncropped as the cropped makes the paws look huge and distracting

Don't crop it. I think it would look a lot better had the ear been in the shot and the paws well within the DOF.

I like the cropped version. It pulled me in right away and felt a little more intimate.

Could I keep both versions and treat each one as a different photo? Or do I have to go with only one version?
