we all know we've done it at one point or another. long exposures are awesome ways to create surealistic pictures without using pp. and even more so when pp'd
so lets see what everyones been doing in the wee hours of night.

and this right here is a shot from that first roll of film that got me into photography.

according to wikipedia:

Long-exposure photography or time-exposure photography involves using a long-duration shutter speed to sharply capture the stationary elements of images while blurring, smearing, or obscuring the moving elements.

you can define "long duration shutter speed" for yourself since i feel that is what you are getting at.
