Sigma 170-500 f/5-6.3

Does anybody have any feedback on this lens? I'm considering it. Price is just shy of $700 brand new.

Well, since I didn't get any feedback... I bought it.

I'll post a report and sample shots once it comes in.

Okay here's my first test shot. 500mm @f/11. A bit fuzzy, but then it's looking through a mile and a quarter of sea-level atmosphere to the nearest houses. Probably not a true indication of what the lens can do... Contrast looks pretty good.
