sigma 18-200mm

I'm currently using the kid lens that came with my Canon 350D, the EF-S 18-55mm, but I'm thinking about buying a new lens.

I saw the Sigma 18-200mm lens in a shop and would like to hear some critiques on it.

In the shop it would be 345euros, is that a reasonable price?
Or would I do better buying a completely different lens. I'm looking for a good allround lens...

I have a Sigma 28-200mm and I don't see any problems with it, although, I've never had another lens so I couldn't really compare. Sorry. I could take some photos for you today if you want to see the quality?
