Signs posted on the trees...

I encountered multiple signs like these, actually, dozens like these posted on trees in the woods where I walked this morning. Wish I could have seen the animal that left them...

Probably deer/ek/moose rubbing their horns.

Went back out there this morning hoping to see the moose that create these marks on the trees.. They are actually eating the bark off the trees and the larger gouges are made with their teeth... Didn't see any moose tho.. They can be very elusive...

yes. ....and sometimes not! When they are pre-occupied.
