Silhouette (Need critiques)

Hi there, i took this photo todays and i would like if you could critique this photo

It is quite a busy photo, and while I don't mind this kind of busy-ness too much in photos, I feel this one is not too well balanced. The tree trunk that divides the photo in two seemingly quite separate halves does not help composition much, I think. Maybe you should have walked around until you would have found a point of view where there is the sun on the one side of the frame and the heavy black trunk somewhere leaning towards the other. The way it is now, this photo seems to consist of two unconnected parts. Just my thoughts.

I think a few steps left, to get that thick branch out of the sun...or a few steps right, to frame the sun with the trees. Right now, I find myself looking more at the color in between the trees than at the sun itself.
