Took this picture over the summer, but had a silhouette project to do for school and thought i'd use this! tell me what you guys think

This is sweet! I like how there is still slight detail in the shadows.

I like this photo. I actually really love the yellow-orange tint that it has to it. The contrast is not so incredibly harsh that it takes away from the image itself. Good work there.

The only thing I wish that was different was how you cannot see the thumb, it's almost like it's completely gone. It would be just that much better if it was there. Food for thought for next time.

But this IS a good photo. Keep up the good work and don't let anyone get you down. Photography is in the eye of the beholder. What one person thinks is garbage, another person thinks is inspiring and beautiful. :thumbup:

Thank you guys! and yes, the thumb part made me pretty unhappy too. but it was hard to frame because that's actually the sun and not edited in but again thanks for the positive feedback and the negative! always wanting to know what I can change for the better.
