Simple Battery charging question.....

We continue to hear at times, you need to fully exhaust your battery before re-charging. Is this a fallacy?

It was not a fallacy with older (and current!) nickel-cadmium (NiCd) batteries. With the more modern lithium ion (Lion) batteries it is not important. Lithium ion batteries do not develop a memory as NiCd batteries did so they don't need to be fully discharged from time to time.
