Thank you Cheryl. I was really a little later getting to the point then I intended. I'd first went to another place, that just wasn't working, almost missed the light. This is at Fort Morgan, looking across Mobile Bay.

I love the way the water is rendered in the first. It does leave me wanting some more whites in the foreground water - but that might not be the case if I was viewing it larger.
That orange stripe of beach is fantastic. These are both nice decorator pieces.

Thank you. The one with the drilling rig is actually my favorite. You are correct this one doesn't present well unless viewed large, the compression killed the little details. The water, and dock have a lot of detail, and the drilling platform lights flared into perfect multipoint stars.

Looks like an orange and grape soda sea. I wonder if it feels fizzy? very nice set, I'm also a fan of the diagonal orange stripe and amazing skies.

Glad I revisited this one. I originally looked on my phone and it didn't do anything for me. Here, on my laptop, it looks totally different. Anyone else ever notice a difference according to the screen used to view a pic, or know why this is? I like the second best also.

@Jeff G Never heard orange and grape used to described the water, but it fits. I was a little bummed because the night before actually had some better clouds, but it was to late to go.

@Original katomi and @Dean_Gretsch the saying "the devil's in the details" really does apply here. When you have an image that doesn't have a lot of sharp lines and edges to begin with, then shrink it down and compress it things run together. When I get back I'll preview these on the 4k big screen, might be good candidates for large prints.

I've been watching the weather and checking other locations. I'd like to get a panorama before I leave, but nothing but clear skys predicted so far.

This almost slipped past me. Nice set. Color rich perhaps but it looks nice. I used to live in Daleville, Ala. but never made it there, the fam always drove to Panama City for fun & relaxation. Looks like a nice place, I'd love to walk around that fort.

As structures go, there's not much, to see, a lot of interesting textures. We were there a few years ago, planning on going back this week during the day for another look.
