Skookumchuck Narrows

Hiked into Skookumchuck Narrows in Egmont, BC. As the tide changes the section to the west of this photo develops rapids. The photo's don't show it, I couldn't get low enough, at the peak of the tide change the swells of the rapid were about 4-5 feet high. I wish I could have got more angle's but the terrain did not allow for it.

I wish there was more of a focal point. Took this one as I wanted a view of the narrows but also liked the look of the clouds.

Here are some of the kayaks, it was really cool if they could get in the rapid correctly it looked like they were travelling very fast but going no where.

Looks like a neat place to be. #1 is my favourite as you are right, the clouds are great.
