Obviously this shot is VERY backlit, but

I'm no pro, but I can say what I do and don't like...
I like the solouette of the animal, with the angle of the hill, it's a nice visual. I might've went for a complete siloette of the hill as well, trying to tame the bright sky a little, but that's just me.

The only thing I didn't really like was the subject was fully centered. Personally I like a little variation in this common framing but again, I'm no pro. Just some thoughts!
 
i think its a cool shot .. i like the contrast :) ... i would have probably zoomed in a little more to make the animal bigger (im not sure what size the actual photo is) ... did u get any more?
 
I was shooting with a 70-300mm and this was the limit of my focal range. I could however crop and resize in photoshop.

Unfortunately I only got one shot of this guy before he went over the hill. :cry:
