Slik 700DX

My Slik 500DX is slowly giving up the ghost. One of the legs keeps falling out; tightening it has become just a very temporary fix. I'm not bitter; it's been put through the ringer and has served me well. It's just time to replace it.

One thing I like about the 700DX is the height: almost 75". The quick release plate seems a bit different than on the 500DX, but that's neither here nor there. Anyone have one, or has anyone used one? I'm close to ordering it; just looking for some last minute input. Thanks!
