Here (or at least "here" as in the part of the US I'm in), we call them bus stop shelters. This is the curved roof of one of the shelters, I think.

It's interesting, Benjo. Not sure if I'd say I "love" it, but it DOES draw me in somewhat. Might just have to look at some of OUR shelters and see if there are any good angles or lines to focus on.

Mostly i think it is good you are out shooting every day. They won't all be amazing. The benefits aren't really the photos when you shoot every day but your outlook toward what you are doing. Big difference from a weekend photog that sees a occasional great photo they get lucky with and a photog that lives it and tries to find that amazing photo every single day. Two totally different mentality's.

BTW: Sharon; notice what happens when they put the diffusing texture on the outside of the top? The grooves fill up with dirt. Apparently they don't wash the shelter roofs. Maybe somebody should. Once in a while.

Yeah, a lot of our old ones had those diffused textured surfaces. And no, our shop never went out and cleaned them; they only time a shelter MIGHT get cleaned is if they had to go out and do repair work to it.
