This is one thing that I have kept my eyes open for, and gone to locations I thought might be fruitful. Is my framing/composition doing the idea justice? Is there any technical improvement I can learn to get more out of my camera on the last 3 shots (Canon powershot sx120 is)?*

I love the miniature plants that grow up in the alpine like these.

these are all a bit greeny-bluey, and you could fix that by changing your white balance (or colour balance in post production)

#1 I would crop a little bit off the bottom
I like this shot the best, and I like how you've included the distant background. Also, it has the best lighting.

#3 Most of the left side of this shot is out of focus, and it throws things a bit off balance for me.

#4 I like the lichen in this shot, it looks so alien.

nice work, I like how you took all of these with a low perspective instead of shooting them from a higher, more comfortable working angle.

Thank you for your comments. The first one was with a HP 735 3.2Mp camera. Looking at the shots from that camera I have the worry that the new camera has gotten me distracted. That old camera was so simple I just knew what it could and couldn't do. Not there yet with the new one (3 years later).
