Smart Girl

This was something I posted in a different thread before I saw the B&W section. It was actually just a spontaneous moment I had when my daughter came and sat down at the table in the kitchen. I don't have much experience with flash so I've been experimenting with different things. In this, I put my 420 EX on a tripod and bounced it directly off the wall behind her, which completely blew out the background. I use a 5d with a 24-105 F4L.

Honestly, I love it. The blown out background is wonderful and gives her a wonderful backlight to boot. Exposure on her seems just a tad dark, but otherwise, wonderful shot (wish you had posted it a little bit larger though.
