Thinking about getting a smugmug account. Anyone have any experience with them?

I personally have one and love it. It uploads in great quality and is very user friendly. Some people don't like it because they can't customize EVERY aspect of the site, but it does what I need it too

I love smugmug. They seem to keep trying to improve it. Sales have been ok and no one has been unhappy with their printing and delivery (I have a pro account).

Had my sites on there for a long time.
They used to be great and more than willing to help out, not any more.
If you can't write code I would look somewhere else.

It's pretty cheap to print, like $0.74 for a 4X6 or something like that. You can sell images but you have to have a Pro account and a tax ID on file. I like it for my needs which is i'm a hobbiest who has a central point for people I photograph to see the results. I can set up private galleries for some of the more risque shoots I do (it keeps mom happy) and so on.

Code: what you use to customize your site otherwise you get a cookie cutter site like everyone else.

Excellent print quality, and I think they just added another lab that you can choose from. I had a 20 x 30 canvas wrap done recently, and I couldn't have been happier with the quality.

I use it for my website and as a completely isolated form of backing up my images in case all of my hard drives simultaneously melt down. It's also great for displaying images without degrading the quality, such as on forums.

No complaints!
