Oh, I like the low-hanging clouds which enshroud the top of the mountains - well, I don't like such clouds when they are here where I am, for weeks on end, but in your photos I like them!!! I think I like the bit of warm colours in the second photo very much by that ray of light that touches that distant slope.

The second one reminds me of the Lake District (Northern England) in the winter.

The 2 places are very similar - I visit the Lake District at least once a year to climb a mountain or two. Snowdonia in North Wales actually has lots more mountains than the Lake District although it's not as often visited so is much more tranquil (most of the time)

thanks for the comments

1st shot wins it for me, but the 2nd shot reminds of an area between Fort William and Mallaig

Thanks everyone for the comments.

I stayed in Fort William a few years ago I visited lots of places (Isle of Skye, Loch Lomand, Glencoe etc etc) - fantastic scenery. Unfortunately it was before I developed an interest in photography, must go back soon !
