Today was the first time I personally had every seen snow, so I went outside and took a few shots. I found this leaf, all alone in the middle of the road. Then I ran back inside bc here in South Texas, we don't really have jackets. lol

No jackets but you do have big furry hats! Anyway, good example of an isolation composition. For fun I would have traced around the leaf in the snow and taken another photo called "Crime Scene"

The hat was a gift before we went on our last vacation to NYC, even then- no snow for me:/

I was in San Antonio for boot camp (Air Force) and it was like 25-35 degrees just about the entire time I was there. Out of the 2 months I think I saw around 5 days that were 60...the rest were all 35 and under. Miserable temperature for boot camp when you're outside working out all the time lol

Then again, I'm from Cleveland...so all seems normal to me.

Edit: 1 More for C&C

First time experimenting with graduated filters.

I don't own a jacket either. Close as I get is my hoodie. I don't even own a long sleeve tshirt.

Not a big fan of #1, but I really like #2 and I think I would try to crop it down some so they aren't so centered.

I too an in SA, but this wasn't a snow fall.....I'm originally from Michigan and enjoyed everyone on the news freaking out about 1/4" of snow and a little freezing rain. This wouldn't have justified pulling the salt trucks out up north. But don't get me wrong, I still enjoyed having the day off.

I like the second pic as well.

What part in SA are you on?
Wasnt snow fall? lol I can only imagine what you are used to.

This was our very first encounter with snow, so we were happy campers.

Windcrest. I know this isn't typical and it's a lot of peoples first time seeing snow, but it was still comical seeing everyone's reaction.

4-8" snowfalls would be a good day, but 12" and more would be impressive. But this would be on top of previous snow falls and you get to the point that you got no where to put it.

I've been here for over a year and a half and have been getting used to the warmer weather, so I to have been freezing my rear off since Tuesday!

Heh up in Cleveland that's how our week was. Got 4" Monday night, 12" Tuesday night, and 3" Wednesday night. Kept snowing maybe 1-2" a night since
