Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
Plug it in and it brings up the "What do you want to do with this?" box. I just close it out and open up Bridge.

In Bridge I open the Get Photos. It reads the camera, tells me how many photos are there and then I click Get Photos.

It connects to the camera and starts the transfer. The randomly (it seems) it will stop transferring after x number of photos and tell me that it can not connect. Something about needs to be charged (which it doesn't) or the connection wires need to be checked (which I've done).

It will eventually transfer them all to my computer, but it takes forever and usually requires 3-4 tries.

Any ideas?

TIA!

Try a different USB port. Try updating your USB drivers.

Do you have any other USB problems, with any other devices? You could save yourself some trouble by simply selecting bridge from the 'what to do' pop-up and setting that as the default function whenever that specific camera is connected.

Buy a card reader. They're going to be faster than plugging the camera in anyways and it'll save you time in the long run. They're not expensive at all.

No trouble with other devices.. not that I used them.

I can't afford a card reader right now.. :( I wish!

Bridge doesn't come up on my pop up for some reason. Photoshop does, but it won't read the images.

You can select browse, navigate to your programs folder, and select adobe, and then bridge. Then it'll become an option for any connected device.

I would try another usb port, as well as try going to your pc manufacturers website and selecting whatever tab/link they have for 'support', looking up the make and model of your pc, and seeing if there are any driver updates for USB.

Lastly, I know money can be an issue, but you can snag a card reader at staples for about 5.99 USD
