Finally the haze broke in my area of the country so I could shoot it last night. It was my first time shooting the moon. My best: My personal favorite: Anyone care to comment? Thanks!:

I got out at 11:00-ish and ours was clear white. It was bright enough to cast moon shadows over everything. It was awesome. What was your setup? This was mine:

Had it set to 365mm. Then cropped in to just the moon. Had it on a tripod with a shutter release.

I am still happy with the way mine turned out though, for a first time.

But I took this a month or two ago. It was shot with an Olympus E-PL1 with an adapted Takumar 500mm f/4.5 lens. This was shot years ago with my Canon 10D + 100-400L The "reflection" that was caught in the picture wasn't visible with the naked eye... kinda took me by surprise.
