You've got a great start there. The color and exposure are perfect. The 2008 NPPA action sports 3rd place winning photo was taken the exact same way but with the goalie diving and the ball hitting the net. I say keep taking the shot till you get something like that.

thanks for the advice. I couldn't get the goalie to move since all the action was on the other side. lol

then you should have gotten up and moved to the side with the action! haha

I LOVE soccer, can't wait till I get my camera to be able to shoot some soccer matches! any more pictures from that day??

yea I know. I was shooting a game last week and all my shots are OOF. I only got like 2 or 3 good shots. And then during second half really thick fog rolled in lol.

I'd say thats a winner i love the way the soccer ball makes you look at the goalie, i wish i was that good. Hopefully all in good time.
