Soft focus of my daughter

I applied the soft focus using photoshop.

I don't know how soft focus can be applied, but I like the effect here.
I think I would have liked it even more if what she is hugging (well, it looks like she's hugging something) were a pet or so, but if you don't have any ... what could you have done, eh?

Reminds me of a photo I once took of my own daughter years ago ... makes me wish I could apply that pp you used here to that one. It might look good....

I believe I used Corel PSP 10 to apply the soft focus to the picture.
She was just lying there on the end of the sofa so her arms are draped over the wooden arm of it and I believe there's a pillow there as well.
