These are both old shots. The second is...meh, not so good. But for some reason I rather like it, even if the branch is totally in the way of the bird, lol.

I'm not as into the second one composition wise, but GREAT colors. The first one....WOW! I love that! It's a stunner, with those soft gradient tones in the sky and the knots in that wood. Good eye! :thumbup:

Nice shots Verbal. I really like the first one I like pitctures with fog, and I like the layout of the second, how the bird is slightly hidden. Great shots.

I agree Verb, the first shot is awesome and the colours in the second are amazing.... to be honest I think its quite natural, not being able to see all of the bird etc.

yep number 1 is a beauty - great soft tones. I'm also glad you posted the second one two cuz i have a load of shots which arn't perfect from a nature photographers point of view, but still have something to them - like great colour contrast etc. well done verbal :thumbup:

Nice shots... the title fits well. I agree, the first one is excellent and the colors in the second are great too! I almost didn't see the bird at first but I like that... it was a nice treat added to the photo. Great job!
