This is a Temple Viper. I tried to put the attention on the vibrant colors and pattern on the snake in this photograph. In retrospect I think I need a higher f/# because I am finding the oof portions of the snake distracting. Doe any one else get that or is it just me? Any other critiques?
This next shot is just a close up taken with my 300mm kit lens. It is not as sharp as I would like it but I was fairly happy with the result. I cannot decide if the shot would be better with the tongue the way it is or with it frozen. Any opinions here? what else could be improved? I know it is a center composition but I feel like it worked for this shot- am I wrong?
This shot of a copperhead is a favorite amongst friends but there are a few things that really bother me with it. One of them being that piece of mulch that I can probably clone out and another being the cropped tail. I could not settle on a better crop for this one so I am open for suggestions on how to fix these. I am also open to any other critiques here.
Thank you very much for your time. I am open to all C&C and questions. These images are mostly unedited save some cropping and white balance adjustments.
