What's new

some doubts Nikon or Canon

In all modes but full manual, the exposure compensation is handled by the rear dial, no need to press any buttons.

In full manual mode, the exp comp really doesn't do anything but move your light meter left or right which you can do in your head.

No, i mean in aperture priority and shutter priority how you have to do EC ?

if I'm getting this right.. just use the real dial to move the ec ? and the front will be used to move aperture or speed depending on the mode you are. i'm right ?

Thanks.

you got it. you can press the +/- button to check and see what EC value you are at. One dial click = .3 two clicks=.7 three clicks=1.0 etc.

To change the value, the button is not needed (except for M mode).

Somehow I knew we weren't going to get through the week without another one of these threads popping up.

Can you tell me where is another thread like mine ? I'm asking about operation of each camera and how it performs on tracking subjects in movement !! If you read my post i'm not asking which one is better with out knowing MY NEEDS. I thought I was very specific. i already know that both brands have excellent IQ,lens,etc.. but don't know in tracking subjects

I have seen countless threads in just the short couple of months I've been a member here that outline just how relatively poor and outdated the AF system is on the majority of Canon bodies. The only update to that system has been with the 7D of which is still inferior to the Nikon AF systems of comparable models.

If your choice is down to the 60D and the D7000, theres not even a question here. The 60D is arguably a downgrade from previous X0D models.

Let me try to directly answer the question without entering the side show.
