Some Family Portraits from Father's Day

I had to chance to get some outdoor family shots with some very cooperative subjects on Father's Day. Well, almost all of them were cooperative...

Haha! Nice captions. I'm thinking that is exactly what that kid was thinking! These are cute - I need a family that will sit still for some shots for me!

Nice shots in a nice location. It looks like it was still fairly bright, even in the shade...as most of them are squinting. I'm not sure where you were shooting from, but it might have helped if you had them facing a direction what wasn't so bright.

Overall, I think they a pretty good. I really like the composition of the first one....but the dad has to loose the sunglasses.

Thanks Kathi for commenting! It was touch and go with the youngest kids in these groups. But I took what I could get. ;-)

Thanks for the comments Mike! Unfortunately, it was really bright everywhere. It was a huge town park with lots of space, and I just looked for some nice shady spots under the trees. I'll remember the sunglasses for next time. He's the kind of guy that never goes anywhere without them, but I think he would have made an exception. I just have to remember to tell him next time. ;-)

I like your shots. I haven't read any other comments but I was wondering about the house in the background of the first shot. I think I would have cloned or airbrushed it out. Or maybe cropped the image tighter.
