I am so in love with this camera and shooting full frame! What a difference! Please take a look at the shoot below. This is one of my first shoots with a model to work with and practice with! I need all the help I can get so please give me any pointers that will help me on the next shoot...

THANK YOU ALL FOR TAKING A LOOK AT MY WORK!!!

Technically this is how they look to me.

1. Underexposed
2 3 4 all have a colour cast and are also underexposed.
5-9 look pretty good.

1, 5 and 6 compositionally I like.

You have a pretty impressive gear list, but it seems you are not getting the best out of it all perhaps?

To be brutally honest, from the thread title and the gear list I expected better I suppose.

Master one thing at a time perhaps? This is something I am trying to do, with each new piece of equipment I will shoot with it to death until I know it inside and out, pro's and cons, what works and what doesnt, this way I feel I am able to make better selections as to what gear I could use and what gear I should use for any given situation, and I am learning everytimeI pick my camera up.

The above is not an attack and sounds harsh, just calling as I see it, as I cant see the difference with what you ended up with compared to what I could potentially do with my "toy" t1i.

I do not take your comments as an attack, if I did I would not post my pics here for C&C. Thank you for you feedback, that's what I am here for. I do not have much experience with Photography, I have always focused my efforts in VIDEO PRODUCTION and I am a noob to photography. I agree that the bottleneck is not in my equipment but in my skill level, that is why I post in the beginners forum regardless of what kind of equipment I may have. Most of my glass is used to shoot with my 5D MKII and our 7D for video production with a cinema rail system and steady cam edited in Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects. But since I own DSLRs why not shoot photography with these cameras as well??? That is why I am here, to learn. I have enrolled in college and will be taking basic photography 101 coming this fall. I am humble and always willing to learn from other experienced artists/photographers such as yourself. As for my post, I did not say that a T1i is a toy, I say that it felt like one after shooting D series bodies. I sell camera and video equipment as a 9-5 gig so I am not knocking a best seller Canon t1i or t2i, just commenting on build quality and feel compared to say a 40D etc...

Thanks again for you comments, I will continue to post my pics here for C&C.

SOME VIDEO shot with DSLRs 5D MKII and 7D...
