I am a new member here so was wondering what people thought of a few of my images. Always love feedback. All shot with a Nikon D90.

1. ISO 200, ~ f/8 Sunrise. 10mm Tamron lens at 10mm.

1. I like very much but I think it would have been AMAZING had it been a little brighter to reflect off the ice.

2. LOVE IT ALL

3. Does nothing for me personally :)

4. PIRATES, cool :)

1. Yum. But I agree, the ice definitely needs to be brighter.
2. Quite nice indeed, though I personally would have preferred a lower viewpoint. Is it my screen, or does that white water seem weirdly blue?
3. Cool place. Was this the morning?
4. It's a less common angle than what one (and by one I guess I just mean myself?) usually sees. This is really nitpicky, but a tiny TINY bit more space on the left side of the crop would have made it better in my eyes. But it's still really nice, either way.

Hardly the work of a beginner!

I love them! I agree with the others before me about #1 but looking forward to seeing more of your photos!

I wish as a beginner I could take photos like that!!!! Nice Work!!!

I like them all... I took the liberty of editing the first one in Gimp.

All I did was an Auto White Balance and a bit of overall sharpening...

This was the result...

It's still too blue imo.

I know the edit looks like crap.. but I'm impatient and jpg files don't offer a lot of flexibility.

1 and 2 are absolutely gorgeous! Nice locations and nice captures :)

Thank you for all the editing suggustions and comments. I will play around with them after work today and see if I can improve them.

1. I will see about white balance and ice brightness. The blue / purple cast I think was from the 5 stop ND filter I had on.

2. I will look at the blueish water.

Number one is the best, but it looks like it needed to wait 20 minutes for the sun to be a little higher; the ice is just too dark. Nice set of shots though!!

Regards,
Jake
