What's new

Some from this Morning.

Oh, wow--numbers one and three are really, really wonderful! The light and the pose of the squirrel is really good.

The bird in #3 is just a simply OUTSTANDING example of the bird being in the right place and the right placement within the frame. The overlapping of the tail with the foreground branch, and the craggy branches and how the bird overlaps those, and the fortuitous radial OOF background branch pattern right behind the head; the open-beaked "expression", the fantastic placement of the bird's body and head within the total frame space; that dark backdrop zone with the straight-up, OOF white stick or branch and the way the bird overlaps that; the way the background branches are OOF enough not to distract, but create a sort of three-dimensionality to the bird by way of in-focus and out-of-focus contrast...jeeze...this is one of the most 3-D songbird shots I've seen in a long time. Just a really, really good picture. Photos three is a simply marvelous study in depth planes, and in overlaps in front of and behind. Craggy, gnarled branches often ruin many bird image, but in this one everything, and I mean every. single. element. comes together brilliantly.

Those all look amazing, great detail, #3 is my favorite.
Thank You.
