I can tell you were in close quarters with your 50mm. Judging by your aperture you must have been using off camera flash, no? Did you take any shots with your kit lens? That may have been the route that I took in this scenario. I enjoy the IQ of my 50mm stopped down, but sometimes you just need the versatility of a wider zoom lens while indoors. Yahfeelin'meh? You did a nice thing though, no doubt about that. Kudos. :thumbup:
ThanksYeah, I love the IQ of my 50mm too, thats why I used it, although my kit lens is pretty good too. I did use it for a couple shots. I used two strobes with soft boxes

Did you have one on each side because the lighting looks flat?
Yeah I did. I need more lights, but for now I just have the two. My backdrop is made from a really bad material and i can't iron it or it melts. Its so wrinkly that it makes shadows

Any suggestions how to not make the light look flat?
