Sometimes things happen in life that give you the inspiration to create a image. What do you guys think?

You can try and walk away from it. But the past always leaves its mark.

I think you communicated your idea very well, and like the image. Sometimes pictures tell a story, and the content is critical. Sometimes we just present an aesthetically interesting image. And sometimes an interesting or pleasing image does the communicating for us. I always find it interesting to know what the photographer's intent was.

Very nice image. I like the way you highlighted the track. If I were to change something, I´d try to make the top right a little darker and the top right a little brighter. The path leads straigth to the horizon and the top left somehow draws all the attention.

It's a guy walking. Doesn't do much for me I'm afraid.
Reminiscent of footprints in the sand that has been done so many times.
It's not bad, just not really good either. It's just sort of there.

This is sort of an interesting example of how framing affects perception.
(Please excuse the awkward additions at the top.)

This was originally somewhere between a square and a 4 x 5 with a heavy vignette on either side to push the viewers' eyes to the center. This the hazy figure at the very, very top, the very foreground of mud and prints seemed very obvious.

Cropping off the vignette at either side and changing it to a 4 x 6 really changes the impact I think.
