GREAT Shots! Cool looking bug!

Just me, I would blur the right side of #2 and focus all attention on the bug.
 
i was trying to but could keep still and was windy so was moving should have used a tripid. Thankssss :lol:
 
Tripod would not have helped you much in this instance. I have abandoned/lost several outdoor macro attempts due to wind. It is not the lense but the subject that is moving in most occurances.

Oh yeah, don't get me wrong, I tripod and mirror lock all my macro shots as well as many other things....infact I kinda sort of abuse the poor thing. But with shots like this subject movement is just as deadly. Good fast shutter speed usually helps but only if it can be done in the given lighting.
