[Bend The Light]

I am once again messing with the processing on the shots of my youngest. I like these, but have my reservations about the processing in places. What are your thoughts, not so much about the content of the photos (just my daughter playing) but about the processing?

i love number two, AWESOME expression you caught. around the eyes looks a tad too bright but otherwise excellent photo. #1 is same as far as the blown area around the nose/eyes. its hard to find the definition in her face, almost looks flat across. the angle is also difficult, as with any subject (of course with kids its not the most cooperative subjects) i try to avoid shooting up the nose. its unflattering in my opinion but i think you were looking for more cc on the pp rather than subject matter. also keep in my mind im using a non-calibrated monitor in my office at work so it may be just me in which case i have no idea what im talking about lol.

Thanks. Annie does have a flat bridge to her nose, which is accentuated a little here, but you are right...they are a tad too bright.
With Annie, you get what you can get...she will never pose for a shot...but even a nose shot is her character!

Here is a slightly adjusted version of the second...little less highlights...any better?
