I like to take this kind of pictures too.
#1. Nice idea but the background is distracting and spoils a lot of the dramatic effect.
#2. Doesn't work for me, I think I get it and the colors are attractive. My eye just sort of enters the picture and then stalls.
#3. I like but, I think I would like to see it straightened too and then compare the 2
#4. My eye is drawn away from the shadows and to the blue roof top and open sky which are both over exposed. Maybe they can be improved with editing, play around with the exposure and color balance controls.
