Your composition in #1 is telling me there is something special about the front door. The other compositions can use some work as well. Hang out here and observe how others compose their shots.

Thats my plan, to learn of you guys! I have a lot to learn, but as long as Im taking photos of my kids, no pictures will go to waste.

Framing this shot down and in a little tighter would have helped IMHO. Your shutter speed is a bit slow as well. I'm seeing some motion blur.

Take a look at the background in #3 and how it lines up with his hair, and imagine "Don King".. be careful for backgrounds
